Barca rejected Ziyech to sign Adama Traore and Ferran Torres

Chelsea midfielder Hakim Ziyech was a key player for Morocco to survive the group stage, along with Croatia and Belgium, and to reach the semi-finals of the World Cup in Qatar.

However, the footballer is not having enough playing time at Chelsea. He has only played 271 minutes without scoring a single goal in nine competitive matches. For that reason, according to 'La Gazzetta dello Sport', he will look for a new destination in January.

Milan seem to be Ziyech's new team if there are no other club interested in signing him. Nevertheless, according to 'Sport', the Moroccan player could have signed for Barcelona if they had not opted for Adama Traore and Ferran Torres.

We will have to wait for the result of the World Cup. For now, everything seems to indicate that he is close to a move to the Italian side, but there are still a few days left until the January transfer window opens and there is still enough time for a few more teams to show interest in him.
