Aubameyang missed Arsenal's game with Southampton due to ill discipline

Aubameyang's relationship with Arteta is becoming more and more strained. The Gabonese striker has been left on the bench on the off occasion and now the Spanish boss left him out of the squad completely for the clash with Southampton.
But, on this occasion, it is not for footballing reasons. The Gunners manager himself confirmed that his absence was due to disciplinary reasons.
"Unfortunately due to a disciplinary breach. I think we have been very consistent that that we have certain non-negotiables in the team that we have set ourselves as a club and he's not involved today," Arteta explained.
It is not known, at the moment, what Aubameyang has done to be ruled out, but there are those who have been warning that troubling was brewing between the pair. "There'll be problems between them," Gary Neville said just a few days back.
