It all started when the Tunisia defence essentially gifted a ball to Spanish forward Diego Costa, the 29-year-old tore ahead into the Tunisia area, and attempted to break free of the two defenders.
It quickly seemed as though Costa had squandered his shot, before he deftly poked the ball back to Iago Aspas who was lurking just outside the area of the left flank.
Aspas fired a searing shot across the box that found the back net on the far right post, and Tunisian goalkeeper Aymen Mathlouthi couldn't get near it in time. The shot marked the first and only goal as Spain defeated Tunisia.
