Barcelona's draw at the Camp Nou against Granada could have been the straw which broke the camel's back as far as Ronald Koeman's future is concerned. The Dutch manager is being questioned due to his team's poor results and play.
As a result of this, former 'RAC1' journalist and current streamer on Twitch, Gerard Romero said that Barca is now preparing a list of possible substitutes for Koeman.
For now, the five main names on the list are: Andrea Pirlo, Antonio Conte, Marcelo Bielsa, Erik ten Hag and Xavi Hernandez. The first two seem to be in a better position compared to the rest.
Nevertheless, the main candidate, as of today, is the former midfielder who was in charge of Cristiano Ronaldo's Juventus last term. His time in charge of Juve was not very good and that forced Max Allegri's return.
However, despite past results, he is a coach who is liked a lot by those at Barca due to his style of play, based on ball possession, as well as an attractive and attacking football. That is exactly how he played when he was a footballer.
Barca know that they have the money to sack Koeman so this could occur at the most unexpected time. Currently, Barca are 7th with eight points from a possible 12 while they were thumped by Bayern Munich 0-3 in the Champions League.
