The Malaga born midfielder is wanted in the Spanish capital despite his lack of game time last season, with the club ready to offer him a new contract.

Despite interest from other big European clubs, such as Juventus and Manchester City, Francisco Alarcon, aka 'Isco', looks increasingly likely to remain a Madrid player next season.

His average perfromances and lack of game time last season have fueled rumours about his exit, but Zidane wants to keep him at all costs, and is ready to present him with a contract renewal, with his current deal ending in 2018.

Unlike his teammate James Rodriguez, the 24-year-old has the coach's faith. After this long summer vacation, the midfielder will have to make a decision when he returns to the captial, however all the signs are there to indicate that he will continue as a Madridista next season.
