Real Madrid coach, Zinedine Zidane, justified his first two changes (Casemiro and Sergio Ramos) when the hour had passed in the game against Levante, saying it was due to exhaustion of the Brazilian and some discomfort in the captain's foot.

"Casemiro could not continue, he was tired. It's true that a lot of players have played with their national teams and have not had a rest and it's complicated," Zidane explained.

In regards to Sergio Ramos, he will miss Wednesday's premiere in the Champions League against PSG, as he had to be replaced due to physical discomfort. "Sergio had discomfort in the soleus and we had to change things."

In addition, in statements collected by 'Real Madrid TV', Zidane made it clear that he was very satisfied with the first half performance of his team. "The team was phenomenal, with goals, game and physically," he explained.

"We deserved the victory although we encountered some difficulties in the second half. They grew a little with their first goal. I am still positive about the first half." Zidane said after the game.

And is that the Real Madrid coach considered that they deserved to suffer less. "We had opportunities to score a fourth, a fifth and a sixth goal," Zidane said after the game.

On individual performances, he said that "Hazard has been training four times with the team" and that "James was phenomenal but ended up tired." "When we do 90 minutes like we played the first half, it will be difficult to stop," he concluded.

He also spoke about Vinicius, who was not successful in the game: "The important thing is to create chances. It is true that we had many chances, but everything is work, work and work. He is very young."
