Young Scarlett stars in Tottenham's bitter first test

Tottenham's first pre-season friendly ended in a 1-1 draw against League Two side Leyton Orient. Seventeen-year-old English striker Dane Scarlett scored for 'Spurs' in the Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation Trophy.

The Breyer Group Stadium hosted the Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation Trophy between Leyton Orient and Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday 17th July, which ended in a 1-1 draw.

The first pre-season friendly for Nuno's side was marked by a great performance from 17-year-old Dane Scarlett, who scored the 'Spurs' goal.

In the 38th minute of the match, the young English striker took advantage of a great assist from Lucas Moura to get in front of the goalkeeper and open the scoring with a cross-shot.
