You've got to score those! Striker misses from two yards out
There is nothing worse as a striker than missing a good chance... except of course missing from two yards out with the goal gaping and your team trailing 3-2.
That was the tough reality for Salim Cissé as he fluffed his lines during a Romanian league game.
The Politehnica Iasi striker was presented with a fantastic opportunity to draw his side level against Botosani on Wednesday night when, with his team 3-2 down late on, he was supplied with the perfect cross to the back post.
Two yards out, goalkeeper beaten, no pressure whatsoever, a certain goal? Not on this occasion. The striker somehow managed to blaze the chance over, though his blushes were spared somewhat as his side went on to score an even later equaliser.
