There were unsavoury chants from the home support when Lucas Torreira got injured in the FA Cup match between Portsmouth and Arsenal. Part of Fratton Park chanted "you're going home in a f***ing ambulance" at the Uruguayan and laughed at him.
Torreira's injury brought back memories of Deulofeu. After receiving a strong challenge, he went down on the floor and writhed in agony: he had got badly injured and the medics had to go off on a stretcher. Some Pompey fans did not care about that though.
They mocked him. While some wanted to see how the player was, others pointed at him and laughed because he could not stand up. They chanted "you're going home in a f***ing ambulance".
The chant rung around the stadium and good be heard perfectly. Although it was not from the whole ground, it was from enough people to catch people's attention.
In fact, some English media outlets did not take long to write about the incident. It was an unsavoury incident after an injury which could see Torreira miss the rest of the season.
