Manchester United is one of the least-scoring teams in this year's Premier League and have suffered from a lot of injuries. Solskjaer has said that due to this ordeal, it is obvious that they need reinforcements.
With injuries affecting Rashford and Martial and Alexis and Lukaku leaving, Manchester United have been far from effective in attack this season.
11th place in the Premier League, this will continue to plummet if they do improve soon and the injuries have attacked the part of the team that was not improved during the transfer market.
"We are looking for creativity and goals. You don't have to be a genius to know that we are going to need to sign a striker", the coach said, in the preview of the game against Arsenal this Monday.
Solskjaer stated that Lukaku didn't want to stay at the club and that it is better to sign players who want to stay at the club for a long time, rather than those who just pay a fleeting visit.
"When we bring players in, we have to think long and hard and we cannot think about what we need for our reputation," he concluded.
