'You can't compare Ronaldo and Messi, Leo is on a different planet'

Arturo Vidal has made headlines across Europe this week after his superb performance against Real Madrid. The Chilean showed his class, despite Inter's defeat.

A day after the defeat, the former Barcelona defender spoke about playing the best teams in the Champions League. At the same time, he has received widespread criticism from the Italian press.

On Saturday, he spoke in an interview with 'Corriere dello Sport' about his career and Lionel Messi. On comparisons for the Argentine, he said: “There is no comparison. Messi is from another planet. We’ve also become close friends and I think that’s a bond that will last forever."

Vidal reminisced about his time at the Camp Nou: "In Barcelona I was happy, there was a good group of guys, and I had a lot of friends. When you are happy, you want to stay put. Things changed though and I decided to come here. I'm here for Conte".

Finally, he insists that Inter can win titles soon. "Here there is a serious project and a coach who wants to win", he said whilst also recalling his time with Bielsa, Pep, and Ancelotti.
