After terminating his contract with Vicenza, former Italy right-back Cristian Zaccardo has turned to social media as he searches for a new club.

The 18-time Italy international made 25 appearances for Vicenza last season in Serie B, but after terminating his contract with the club following their relegation, the 35-year-old is on the look-out for a new club.

So like any other jobseeker, Zaccardo has taken to LinkedIn, the website that matches employers with potential workers.

On his account he posted: "I've cancelled the contract that tied me to the vicenza until June 2018,"

"I'm currently an unattached footballer. I'm still good physically, I could play two more years at high levels. Whoever takes me will get a great deal."

"Serious and strong professional footballer!"

If no club does take up the offer then Zaccardo will still be able to look back on an impressive career which featured spells at AC Milan, Parma and Wolfsburg.
