The draw for the UEFA qualifiers will take place in December after the UEFA Nations League finishes.
We are currently in the 2nd round of the Asian qualifiers. The 8 group winners and 4 best runners up qualify for the third round. Syria, Australia, Iraq, Uzbekistan, Japan, Vietnam, Turkmenistan, Oman, Malaysia, Kuwait, Bahrain, and South Korea are the teams going through so far.
The 2nd round is about to start with teams already divided into ten groups of four.
The first round has been drawn and this will involve the teams ranked 6-35 in the confederation.
The South American system will start in October with Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay all involved.
The Oceania qualifiers haven't been drawn yet.
There is only one team through to the finals so far and that is Qatar. Teams will mostly be playing in friendlies and Nations League matches until the qualifiers start, so it's best to look at the statistics of each nation and their friendly results as there could be a few teams qualifying for the first time.
