18-year-old Dutch full-back, Ki-Jana Hoever, has been transferred from Liverpool to Wolverhampton Wanderers. The move seems to be the key in the more than imminent signing of Diogo Jota for Liverpool.

Hoever has become Wolves' fourth signing of the summer. The Dutch full-back has moved to the Molineux Stadium after signing a deal that sees him at the club until 2025.

He was one of the big promises of the Liverpool Academy, but he has ended up leaving, and not because of lack of opportunities (Klopp had already started to count on him), but because of necessity.

Liverpool are very close to signing one of Wolves' mainstays, Diogo Jota. The transfer of Ki-Jana to the Molineux Stadium seems the key in Jota's exit to Anfield.

Wolves have reportedly paid 9 million pounds for the 18-year-old Dutch full-back, which translates into almost 10 million euros. Ki-Jana has signed a five-year contract with his new club.

And this transfer could be the one that unblocks the long-awaited departure of Diego Jota to Liverpool. He is valued at around 35 million, and the latest reports speak about a 38 million offer.
