With striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic starting a new adventure stateside, there's a No. 10 shirt up for grabs at Old Trafford. We take a look at five potential options for Zlatan's successor.

Antoine Griezmann

The wantaway Atletico striker was within touching distance of a move to Old Trafford in the summer but opted to remain loyal to Madrid's red and white army. With rumours circulating of his departure at the end of the season, there's no doubt the Frenchman's name will be on Mourinho's shopping list.

Gareth Bale

Playing second fiddle to Asensio and Lucas Vazquez, Bale is out of favour at Real Madrid and could be heading for the exit door at the Bernabeu. The Welshman has already proved himself in the Premier League and United are the favourites to bring him back to British soil.

Willian

The Brazilian played under Jose at Chelsea and could be re-united with his old mentor in the summer. It is believed that Mourinho made a move for Willian in the winter window but nothing came of it.

Marcus Rashford

Rashford is a real fan favourite at Old Trafford. In his performances he has shown that his talent is boundless and will be crucial to United in the future. Perhaps now is the chance to entrust the youngster with the legendary No. 10 jersey?

Neymar

Rumours continue to circulate about a potential Neymar move away from Paris. Whether United are prepared to pay his €400 million price tag is another question.

Douglas Costa

On loan in Italy, Costa has been one of Juventus' stand-out players this season. The winger is surplus to requirements at Bayern Munich and has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester.
