Fans often hear managers bemoaning about squad depth and injuries consistently throughout a season, especially with most teams playing a game every three days.
However, according to data from 'PhysioRoom', the clubs most affected in the Premier League this season don't actually come from those in Europe.
Watford have been hit the hardest with 1,871 days lost through injuriesm with West Ham in second with 1,509 - followed by Crystal Palace (1,501), Burnley (1,350) and Everton (1,191).
Out of the top six, Manchester United have suffered the most, losing 1,154 days ahead of both Chelsea and Manchester City on 882. Arsenal (843), Liverpool (798) and Tottenham (737) languish close behind.
The team with the fittest squad has been Southampton (593), although that hasn't seemed to help given their proximity to the relegation zone with only a few games remaining.
Ironically, the data supports the idea of a winter break in the Premier League, with December (126) and January (143) the most common months for players sustaining injuries.
