This Tuesday, the footballer Franck Kessie, said that arriving at Barcelona feels like a "huge opportunity" in his career and that he is looking forward to begin training with the team.
The Ivorian, Franck Kessie will be presented as Barcelona's latest signing this Wednesday. The player has stated that signing with Xavi Hernandez's team is "a huge opportunity" and that he is "looking forward to starting" work with his new teammates.
The ex AC Milan player is now a Barcelona man and he will be signing a deal until 2026 at the Camp Nou. His release clause will be set at 500 million euros. He will be the second ever Ivorian footballer, after Yaya Toure, to wear a Barcelona shirt.
In comments released by the Catalan club, Kessie said that he will give "everything" for the team. "When a great coach like Xavi calls you, you realise that all the effort has been worth it. I can't wait to begin working with him and my teammates", he said.
Kessie, Barcelona's first signing ahead of the 2022/23 season, will be presented at the Ciutat Esportiva where he wil give a press conference at 12:15 CEST on Wednesday.
