Sergio Busquets spoke out after Barcelona's defeat at home to Rayo Vallecano. The blaugrana captain highlighted the team's difficulty when playing at the Camp Nou after losing to Cadiz a week ago.
Barcelona were again on the losing side at Camp Nou, this time against Rayo Vallecano. Andoni Iraola's men took all three points in a game that started very well for the Madrid side thanks to Alvaro Garcia's goal.
After the game, Sergio Busquets spoke about the difficulty at home: "We're finding it very difficult to win our home games. We start conceding goals very quickly and that makes it even harder for us to go behind".
"The opposing teams are gaining confidence, they're more focused on holding on to the result and when you're not effective in both areas it's twice as hard. The goals always come from a mistake, but the team didn't do badly", he explained on the pitch.
He then pointed out that they failed in something they worked on during the week: "In a play that we've seen 200 times on video, which they do very well, they did it to us and we couldn't stop it".
"We tried to give them speed, to have chances, especially in the second half, but it was difficult, they were well set up. We weren't effective and with the loss of time everything got worse", he stressed.
Finally, he compared the situation with their direct rivals, Sevilla: "We are in this negative dynamic at the Camp Nou, we had a cushion that we could have taken advantage of and looked further up, but in the end we didn't do it and we are tied with them".
