What unites Luis Suárez with Virgil van Dijk and Koeman?
They have joined together to lend a hand to Groningen, historic Eredivisie side who they played for and that are experiencing their darkest hours.
Before their stardom at Liverpool and Barca, Virgil van Dijk, Ronald Koeman, and Luis Suárez played for Groningen. Not a big team, but a historic team that aren't going through their best moment because of the coronavirus crisis.
The three are aware and have announced that they will help the team. Although the Uruguayan has not specified about his donation in more detail, everything indicates that it will be identical to what Van Dijk and Koeman have already decided to lend.
The Liverpool defender announced on his Twitter that he would pay for 4 season tickets out of his own pocket and that he would also have a draw for them amongst the clubs' most disadvantaged fans, so it would be doubly helpful.
