Real Madrid are sizing up the transfer of either Neymar or Mbappe or even both of them, knowing full well that PSG are not willing to negotiate. Likewise, in Chamartin they are aware that Cavani's, Verratti's and Rabiot's rebellions were unsuccessful.

Al Khelaifi has shown that he has never been afraid of doing all he can to retain his top players. Something which should come as a warning to Neymar and Mbappe, whose future at the Parc des Princes has been questioned again after yet another setback in the Champions League. Although none of them has admitted publicly to wanting to leave PSG, Real Madrid's interest has caused the French fans to become nervous. A fear which has not spread to the club, where there look on at the next transfer window in the same way as the previous ones.

First it was Edinson Cavani who asked to leave Paris. PSG's response was negative, threatening to leave him in the stands for the whole season. A situation which did not end up occurring because the Uruguayan reflected and concentrated on playing. After a first half-hearted sign of rebellion, Marco Verratti went a step further in his desire to go to the Camp Nou. Donato di Campli, now Verratti's ex-agent, affirmed that the Italian was "a prisioner of the Emir of Qatar." Words which he ended up denying.

Adrien Rabiot, however, did not go back on his word and has been isolated from the rest of the team for the past year. Suspicions over a possible agreement with Barcelona due to his refusal to renew his contract with PSG which expires on 30th June, caused PSG to keep the Frenchman away from the dressing room.

A situation which Veronique Rabiot, the footballer's mother and agent decided to report: "He's a prisoner, soon he will be given dry bread and water and he will be put in a dungeon. Others who are injured can go to the Rio Carnaval on the other side of the world."
