RUMOURS: West Ham interested in Glen Johnson return
West Ham have set their sights on their former player Glen Johnson and are willing to place an offer that will convince a reluctant to sell Stoke City, Sky Sports has reported.
Stoke City acquired the 32-year-old on a free transfer in 2015 and are reportedly so pleased with him that they do not want to sell despite his age and the fact he suffered a serious knee injury.last season.
West Ham however are keen to bring the veteran back, as Johnson had began his career with the Hammers at Upton Park before crossing London and signing for Chelsea in 2003,
Johnson had signed for Liverpool in 2009 on an impressive - for a full-back - £18m deal.
