Salomon Rondon is set to become West Brom's best-paid player after agreeing a five-year dealThe Hawthorns.
The Venezuela forward, 25, has finalised personal terms worth around £50,000-a-week at Albion and passed a medical.
He now waits for international clearance in the form of a British visa to rubber-stamp his move. He will not be available for Albion tonight when they host Man City.
He plays a similar style to that of Liverpool's new £32.5m forward Christian Benteke.
