Olivier Giroud hasn't lost at Wembley since 2012, and has won the FA Cup three times before. The Frenchman wants to be Chelsea's lucky charm.

The forward is something of a Wembley specialist, and was part of an Arsenal side that won the FA Cup twice in a row in 2014 and 2015. Giroud, who moved from Arsenal to Chelsea in January, also scored against his current club in the final last season, as the Gunners won 2-1.

Speaking with the 'Evening Standard' ahead of Saturday's final between Chelsea and Manchester United, the Frenchman has revealed that he wound his new teammates up about this goal when he arrived this year.

"I have been teasing them about it," he said. "When I arrived in January they were still a bit angry with me but I said, 'I hope we will carry on the momentum because I can beat any team at Wembley and I will be your lucky charm — let's hope we do it'."

Giroud wants to continue his good Wembley form against United. "I have been unbeaten at Wembley since 2012," he stated. "Obviously first with Arsenal and then with Chelsea for the semi-final. Hopefully I will be unbeaten after the final, too. It's a nice record and I want to keep it up."

Many people have tipped United as the favourites to lift the trophy, due to Chelsea's poor form this season, as well as Jose Mourinho's tactical nouse. For Giroud, there's no clear favourite, though.

"I don't agree with the people that are saying that Manchester United are favourites," he expressed. "It is 50-50."

"Manchester United did well in the title race to finish runners-up but our games against them were equal. We won one and they won one. We know that we have the quality to win it."
