The 4.4 magnitude quake struck some 15 miles form Port Talbot, inthe Swansea Valley village of Cwmllynfell at around 14:30 GMT, but the tremors reached as far as England, with people in both Liverpool and the Midlands reporting feeling the quake.

The quake let to Port Talbot temporarily halting the game, though play was later restarted and the hosts ran out 2-1 winners.
