'We will cause Juventus problems'
Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof is confident that the 'Red Devils' have enough about them to make life difficult for Juventus when the two sides face off at Old Trafford on Tuesday night.
The two favourites to win Group H face off in the first of back-to-back encounters on Tuesday, with United in for a tough test as they take on one of Europe football's genuine heavyweights.
The game will see former United star Cristiano Ronaldo return to his former club, but whilst Jose Mourinho's side have been plagued by inconsistency so far this campaign, Swedish defender Lindelof is confident United can cause Juve problems.
"We have really great players," he explained to the 'United Review' matchday programme. "When you look around our dressing room, you just see really good players with great character and quality.
"[Juventus are] a really good team with really good players. They've been playing together for a very long time and now they've got Ronaldo in the team giving them another dimension.
·So they're a great team, of course, but I think we're a great team as well. We're going to give them trouble."
The Italians sit top of the group with two wins from two to date, with United in second having claimed one win and one draw. With just two points separating the sides, the games between them are likely to prove pivotal in deciding who tops Group H, something that isn't lost on Lindelof.
"These two games against Juventus are very important for us, so we have to be ready for the first game tonight and then the away game next time," he admitted.
"It's important for us to get something from these two games because it's very tight, but we can make things easier for ourselves by starting with three points tonight."
