Barcelona cruised to victory at the Rosaleda thanks to goals form Luis Suarez and Philippe Coutinho, but speaking after the game, the Brazilian insisted that the upcoming Champions League clash with Chelsea never crossed the players' minds during their stay on the Costa del Sol.

The Catalan side sent a message to Atletico Madrid and the rest of La Liga that the title was very much theirs to lose as they swept the Andalusians aside.

Suarez opened the scoring with a fine header, before Coutinho got on in the act with a lovely flick following good work from the improving Ousmane Dembele.

"We came to play a difficult game and we were able to score early on. We were looking for the three points. We weren't thinking about Chelsea, we wanted to maintain possession. Now, we're thinking about the next game," Coutinho told the press following the game.

Finally, the former Liverpool man touched upon the absence of Lionel Messi as the Argentine became a father for the third time, saying: "He's the best in the world and we always miss him, but something really good has happened in his life and we've congratulated him."
