Real Madrid face a challenge this Wednesday in the Club World Cup. Los Blancos take on PSG, the current Champions League holders, for a place in the final. Tchouameni previewed the match on 'RM Play', the 'Merengues' streaming platform.
"We are working very well to prepare for the PSG match. We are very happy to be in the semi-finals, but we want more. We have to win the match against PSG and we are going to give it our all, fight to win and stay in the competition," said the midfielder.
"PSG are a good team, with many players that I know personally. They are a top team in world football, they have won the Champions League. It is going to be a difficult match, but we have the quality to win it and we have to show it," he added.
Regarding his position on the pitch, in which he can play as a third centre-back in a defence of five and also as a midfielder, Tchouameni gave his point of view: "The midfield position is very important because we have to anticipate what is going to happen. My job is to adapt, it depends on the conditions of each match and the opponent's play."
Finally, the French player stated that they are grasping the ideas that Xabi Alonso is conveying. "Day by day, we understand more what the coach and his staff want. In each match we are improving on and off the pitch. We have to keep working and improving," he concluded.
