Speaking ahead of the Premier League crunch match, Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte has admitted that he has "great respect" for Manchester United.

The race for Champions League qualification has intensified following Liverpool's 4-1 win over West Ham on Saturday to move them up to second.

With United in third with 56 points and Chelsea in fourth with 53, it makes their Premier League fixture on Sunday even more important as both look to secure three points to maintain their push.

However, Conte is under no illusion about just how tight it is between second and fifth, as his side could go level on points with the 'Red Devils' if they take a victory at Old Trafford.

Speaking ahead of the match, the Italian said: "It's a place in the Champions League and this fight is not simple because there are five very strong teams to fight for three places in Europe".

"We have a great respect for United because they have a lot of fantastic players and are one of the best teams in the world".

He concluded: "For sure, we want to play good football and play a good game and try to win the game, but it won't be easy because as you know it's not simple to play at Old Trafford."
