Nacho Fernandez spoke at the press conference ahead of Real Madrid's showdown with Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup final. The captain was calm about his future and spoke of "giving his best" rather than "winning out of obligation".

Real Madrid are ready to fight for the Spanish Super Cup. This is what Nacho Fernandez said on Saturday in his pre-match press conference ahead of 'El Clasico' against Barcelona in Saudi Arabia. The captain claimed that his team will focus on giving their best.

"There's no need to explain anything. We don't have to win by obligation, but we do have to give our best against Barca. What game at this club should we not win? You can always ask me that question", he told reporters.

Nacho Fernandez did not dodge his future: "I'm very happy in my life. Last year I was more worried about what was going to happen going forward and when I was I played everything until the end of the season."

He went on to add: "I'm playing a lot, I feel good, I'm not worried about my future. My relationship with the club is great. If I want to sign tomorrow, I could do it."
