Watford have sent all their fans who made the trip to all their away matches last season a free replica away shirt, with a letter from Troy Deeney.

The move was made possible after the club teamed up with their official sponsor to send the fans a free replica away shirt in the post.

The package included a letter from club captain Troy Deeney in which he thanks the supporters, saying "All 19 away games. That's a decent effort, by the way" and recognises how difficult it is to see all the games the 'Hornets' play because of the relative lack of interest TV companies have in broadcasting their matches.

Those who received the package took to social media to thank the club and their captain for the gesture, which has been widely praised by many,

Watford play their first away match of the Premier League season against Burnley on 18th August.
