Our shortlist includes (in alphabetical order) Argentina, Brazil, France, Germany, Spain and Portugal.
Do you believe that Leo Messi will finally lead Argentina to the promised land and help them forget the bitter pill of the last final, in Rio?
Or will instead his team-mate on Barcelona, Neymar, inspire the other south-American giant Brazil to conquer the trophy they failed to clinch in their home tournament in 2014?
What about France, who are always a huge European power and have a youthful team led by Paul Pogba and Antoine Griezmann?
Germany can never be counted out as contenders in a bog tournament, especially since in this case they are also the reigning world champions! Will the Germany be able to defend their crown?
Spain were the 2010 champions and they have under-gone a rebuilt process that has helped them maintain their high level, but will this new generation be able to repeat the triumph of South Africa?
Last but not least, Portugal, who few believed they could win Euro 2016 but went all the way in the tournament, will be led in Russia by an extremely motivated Cristiano Ronaldo in what will most likely be the last World Cup of his career.
