VIDEO: Yairo Moreno’s great free-kick in two day game
Yairo Moreno scored this free-kick goal as Deportivo Independiente Medellín beat América de Cali 3-1 back in May 2018.
DIM faced America Cali in the Colombian Apertura in May 2018 and the home side came out on top in a two day clash.
Yairo Moreno put DIM ahead after 16 minutes with a brilliant free-kick before Cataño made it 2-0 after 37 minutes. The match was halted after 47 minutes due to an electrical storm and the remainder of the game had to be played the following day at 10am.
Halfway through the second half, America Cali were given a spot kick and Martinez Borja made no mistake. Cali were pressing for an equaliser but then Leo Castro made it 3-1 five minutes from time when his shot was deflected into the goal. Check out the 1-0 goal in the video below!
