Daniel Farke gave his assessment on the first round of the DFB Cup against Oberliga team SV Oberachern. The Gladbach coach said that they would prepare for the opponent in the same way as for a Bundesliga match.
Borussia Monchengladbach take a trip to the Dreisamstadion on Sunday to meet Oberliga side, SV Oberachern, in the first round of the DFB-Pokal (German Cup).
The match will be Monchengladbach's first competitive match of the season following their six pre-season warm up matches previous to it. Their pre-season record is three wins and three draws. They will be hoping that their preparation has been sufficient enough to avoid an embarrassing defeat against the fifth tier side on Sunday.
