Paris Saint-Germain paid Manuel Ugarte's €60 million release clause to Sporting Portugal as the Uruguayan midfielder signed a five-season contract with the French club, which runs until 2028.
The new signing of the Parc des Princes team gave his first words since his arrival at the French club: "Undoubtedly, these where tough days of decision, but right now I am very satisfied, very happy and eager as well.
"First of all because of the club greatness. Also because of the fans because I always liked a team that have fans and well, I think that was very important, but the most important thing was to fight for important things. We really want to win," concluded the player.
