VIDEO: Serge Aurier’s first interview as Villarreal CF player
Serge Aurier expressed his joy for joining Villarreal CF and reuniting with Unai Emery, who already coached him at PSG.
Former Tottenham right-back, Serge Aurier, has completed a free transfer to Villarreal. The 28-year-old signed a one-season contract, with an option to extend it for two more years.
When Spurs signed Emerson Royal from Barcelona, Tottenham tried to sell Aurier but the moves failed to materialize. Aurier and Tottenham came to an agreement to terminate Aurier's contract in August.
He will have his chance to make his first LaLiga appearance in Villarreal's next game against Osasuna on Sunday 17th October.
