Barcelona's manager, Ronald Koeman, is reportedly on the brink of getting sacked following a 3-0 Champions League defeat at Benfica on Wednesday, as well as sitting sixth at the league table and Barça's playing style.
During the last couple of hours many rumors emerged about who and when is someone replacing the Dutchman, with Xavi, Pirlo and Roberto Martinez reportedly being on Barça's shortlist. Ronald Koeman addressed those rumors during the press conference ahead of LaLiga clash against Atletico. "I am staying here still", said Barça's boss "No one at the club has told me anything yet, I know many things are leaked to the press, and they might be true, but no one has told me anything once again", he added.
Koeman also believes that the performances can improve once he has all of his players available: "We need to change stuff, we will get important attackers back from injury and keep working the way we are".
Atletico will host Barcelona in an exciting LaLiga clash on Saturday 2nd October at 21:00 in Wanda Metropolitano.
