UEFA launched an online platform so that referees could continue VAR training from home. Spanish referees Nacho Iglesias Villanueva (VAR), Eduardo Prieto Iglesias (La Liga referee) and Saúl Ais Reig (Segunda referee) feature in it.
Football has been suspended since the middle of March due to the coronavirus pandemic and La Liga and Segunda Division should be getting underway in the next couple of weeks. Although many remember that the players need to train, the referees are often forgotten about.
