Platense took on Sarmiento in an Argentinian league clash last Sunday at the Ciudad de Vicente Lopez.
The match was far from a classic as both teams rarely got into the opposition box. Sabella hit a shot wide of the goal from outside box in the first half for the home side and that was the clearest opportunity in the first 45. Ledesma in the Platense goal had to save a free-kick in the second period as well as a header from Bocon Torres, but the truth is that a goalless draw was a very fair result.
