Luis Enrique addressed the media in his first press conference as PSG manager. The former Barcelona coach was sacked from the Spanish national team after the Spaniards were knocked out of the World Cup by Morocco in the last 16 and faces a new challenge in Ligue 1.

PSG finally announced Luis Enrique as their new coach until June 2025. The former Barcelona coach gave his first words in charge of the Parc des Princes outfit.

"From the first day I met with Luis Campos and presidnet Nasser, everything was very easy. In less than five minutes we were already discussing the things that could be done," said the Spaniard about the ease with which both sides reached an agreement.

"Their project, what they offer me, is something that I think it's only available to very few. And I sincerely believe that it fits very well with my idea of attacking football, football that can entertain the fans and, above all, football that can achieve good results. That's the challenge I have here," said Luis Enrique.

"I am committed to creating a team. For that I have the club's help. I am sure that I will succeed, I have no doubt that I will create a team, I am very sure. And I think Paris Saint-Germain fans are going to like that a lot," concluded the new PSG manager.
