On Saturday May 14th, Liverpool met Chelsea in the FA Cup final at Wembley. It was a repeat of last season's League Cup final back in February.
Just as they did in February, Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool came out the victors. After a goalless 120 minutes of fierce match play, the final was to be decided on penalties. As the shootout went to sudden death, Alisson Becker saved Mason Mount's penalty and Liverpool's Tsimikas converted the following spot kick to win his team the Cup.
