Hansi Flick was very pleased with the performance of the German national team after the 5-2 success against Italy in the Nations League.
On Tuesday, Germany hosted Italy at Borussia-Park in Moenchengladback. The two countries faced off in Nations League clash.
It was the Germans who romped to victory on the night after putting five past the Italians. Joshua Kimmich opened the scoring after ten minutes. This was followed by Gundogan penalty on the stroke of half time. In the second half, Thomas Muller added a third and Timo Werner scored a brace before Wilfried Gnoto pulled one back for the Italians. Bastoni added a second consolation goal in additional time at the end of the 90.
