Borussia Monchengladbach's players were delighted after qualifying for the Champions League last 16 despite losing to Real Madrid.
Monchengladbach had a tricky away fixture at Real Madrid on the last day of the Champions League group stage.
They needed a draw to go through to the last 16, but they were beaten 2-0 to two headers by Karim Benzema. A loss meant they needed Inter v Shakhtar to be draw while both teams needed a win to progress. The Gladbach match finished a few minutes before the Inter one and so the players gathered together on the pitch to watch the closing stages on a Ipad.
