On the day, Ginter had opened the scoring for the hosts after just 10 minutes, and the match went in 1-0 at the break. Then, on the hour mark, Neuhaus' fantastic assist provided Hofmann with the chance to make it 2-0.
A goal from Bensebaini just seven minutes later made it three, before Wolf put the icing on the cake with Gladbach's fourth in the 95th minute.
In the table, Gladbach are four points off the Europa League spaces, whilst Frankfurt are trying to hold on to the final Champions League spot under pressure from Dortmund.
