Another Felipe Silva goal, another victory for Gwangju. The Brazilian made it three goals in as many games to lead Gwangju to a third straight win with a 2-1 victory over Incheon United in the K League on June 17, 2020.
Matchday seven of the 2020 K-League continued on Wednesday as Gwangju hosted Incheon at the Gwangju World Cup Stadium.
Felipe Silva scored for the third consecutive match to put the hosts ahead with 29 minutes on the clock. Then, Kim Jeong-Hwan made it 2-0 in the 80th minute before Mahazi thought he had pulled a goal back for Incheon five minutes later. However, the VAR spotted an offside and the goal was chalked off. Incheon were awarded a penalty in the 98th minute which Mugosa converted, but it was too late. Check out the match highlights above!
Gwangju move into 7th on 10 points while Incheon are bottom of the 12 team league with just two points so far. Gwangju go to leaders Jeonbuk next on Sunday while Incheon are at home to second bottom Busan on the same day.
