Fiorentina won their last pre-season friendly against Espanyol, although the score was a 0-0 draw after 90 minutes.
Penalties condemned Espanyol in Florence, in a match in which both Astori and Jarque were remembered.
Fiore have had a good preseason and have not conceded a single goal in the entire preseason and have won all four games. They will start Serie A against Roma on 22nd August. Espanyol have had a weaker pre-season and will start La Liga on 14th August against Osasuna.
