Declan Rice has trained with Arsenal for the first time as the Gunners get ready to face Wayne Rooney’s MLS All-Stars at Audi Field.
Declan Rice joined Arsenal after a tireless transfer race. West Ham were unwilling to let their skipper leave for less than £100 million and the Gunners finally signed him for £105 million.
Manchester City, who lifted the Premier League trophy last season, were also interested but pulled out of the race. The 24-year-old is set to begin his new adventure at the Emirates Stadium.
The English midfielder completed his first training session of the pre-season on Tuesday and trained with his teammates for the match against MLS All-Stars.
The Arsenal players trained in Washington D.C. and even played a short warm-up game ahead of Thursday's friendly at 2.30 CEST.
