The match looked destined to end goalless as it entered the closing stages. With just nine minutes remaining, however, Mangkualam set up Shim who made it 1-0 to the home side.
The win puts Ansan Greeners into third place, just one point away from Daejeon Citizen in second. The two sides currently look set to battle it out in the promotion playoffs at the end of the season.
