Varane puts the ball in his own net to give Spurs the lead
Tottenham scored their first ever goal against Real Madrid tonight, but there was a little helping hand from 'Los Blancos' defender Raphael Varane.
After a bright start from Real which saw Cristiano ronaldo hit the post, Tottenham took a shock lead.
With 28 minutes played, Serge Aurier crossed low from the right and as Kane attempted to back-heel the ball goalwards it took a significant deflection off Raphael Varane and flew past Navas.
The goal was harsh on Real, who had largely been in control at that point but Spurs certainly won't have minded.
