Bayern Munich went in front in their match against Tigres through a great shot from Joshua Kimmich, but the referee ruled it out after seeing the repeated action on the monitor. Robert Lewandowski's positional offside was initially disregarded.

Tigres started well against Bayern but bit by bit the German outfit got into the match. In one of their chances, the long-awaited goal arrived for the Bavarians.

Kimmich received the ball outside the box and didn't think twice: he hit a strong shot with his right foot that went into Guzmán's bottom right corner.

The Tigres keeper was like a statue, but in the repeat of the action, it could be seen how Lewandowski passed close to the trajectory of the ball... and was able to put the keeper off.

VAR called the referee so that he saw the repeated passage of play on the monitor... and he changed his mind. He signalled an offside for the Polish striker and ruled out Bayern's goal. Tigres momentarily breathed.
