Turkish club Fenerbahce are willing to listen to offers for Dutch striker Robin Van Persie, despite being at the club for just one year.
Fenerbahce are willing to listen to offers for 32-year-old striker Robin Van Persie, according to their club president Aziz Yildirim.
“Van Persie? We’re waiting for buyers, if he wants to be sold,” he said to AMK Spor.
Fenerbahce signed the Dutchman for £3.8 million last year, but now seem to want to sell the former Arsenal and Manchester United man.
Van Persie scored 16 goals in 31 Super Lig appearances for Fenerbahce, but this does not appear to be enough to save his career with the Turkish side.
However, the striker has 101 Holland caps to his name, scoring 50 international goals and has scored goals wherever he has played. There will undoubtedly be a number of clubs interested in capturing the forward's signature.
